I've got something that's been on my mind.                      it's been bugging me quite for some time                            I have to tell you that you might get upset              because it's about you baby yeah it's about you baby 
We could have just been friends with benefits                   if that's what it was
We could have hooked up evey now and then                    if that's what it was
We didn't have to pretend like it could have been more than whatever it wasn't

Maybe Im the fool to think that we could ever be anything more than friends
Now im fighting these love feelings

But I still get excited when you come around                  but I  don't show you that any more
Yeah you still have that affect on me 
But I wont show it any more
Like im not in love with you anymore
