What It Had Cost

My heart doesn't feel anymore There's an emptiness deep inside There's a heaviness I can't ignore From a deep darkness I can't hide To hurt so bad tears won't come As I stroll down memory lane Wondering where it came from Held emotions drive me insane Memories echo in my mind of you how did I once again get lost Forgetting to say my adieu Losing track of what it had cost
