What is wrong with Santa

What is wrong with Santa and his little elf too?
Have they fallen into liquor cups? Asked Little Lou.
It was Christmas eve, so this would never do.
But we figured out quickly it was the frost said Sue.

The wind chill was thirty-six below that day
Could you be out there without a red nose? No way.
We put masks on them and wrapped them in a scarf too.
Then we waved them off, into the sky they flew.
