What is white?

What is white?
Falls from sky
Slip on white
Careful, you’ll fall

What is white
Falls from sky
Cold to touch
Rolls into ball

What is white
Falls from sky,
Covers street,
Car slips, bangs, wall, 

What is white
Falls from sky
Covers leaves
Fallen to ground

What is white
Falls from sky
Covers ground
Closes school
Children smile
Mothers frown
