What Is Victory When Everything Is Lost
UNSUPPORTED CODE
What is VICTORY when everything is lost?
The foggy field glanced before mine eyes
With all my fright I searched for twinkling flies.
But down in the meadow, there was grass with dew,
Shivering in the cold with hopes very few.
Surrounded by the ice-capped mountains they stood,
Each wearing armor and his hood.
The last of the fire danced in the chilling air
A hollow sound echoed in my ears-“FIRE”.
Each of the men mounted on their steed
With daggers and shields, trying to take the lead.
Dust and dew all swirled around,
With a bizarre boost they started running aground.
Miles away from here, they mingled with the opposite tide,
For hours went on the stride and I tried to hide.
I saw the tides of different shade,
But at last, everything was red.
The sound of clash gradually faded,
Stream of blood moved without being obstructed.
When the fancy went away in frost,
I thought-“What is VICTORY when everything is lost?”
