What Is Truth
WHAT IS TRUTH
as you knot your braids
you ask the Lord: what is truth?
— dust cover shut tight
the light pains your eyes
wearing darkest shades of sin
— the good book beckons
ear plugs squeeze out praise
pews are painted arctic blue
— sermon slams iceberg
millstone about neck
truth plunges into the sea
— delusion complete
