What Is True

Pale shadows of what is true
The truth eludes even me and you
We must look deep within our souls
To find the truth we must avoid the shoals
We are not who we see in the mirror of life
We are formed and molded thru hardship and strife
The kindness we show to all of mankind
Is a gift from God, and still we are blind
From deep in our hearts it’s Gods love we show
It’s only thru god we are able to grow
