What Is That Mama

What is that mama? Sun was in mama’s eyes but there was no mistaking the polka dots. It was a leopard, about thirty foot off the ground slumbering in a tree. Mama lifted her child off the ground and signaled for silence. Tiptoeing her away from imminent danger. Glad they had made an escape.

gosh, they slumber in those trees? Yikes, I can imagine one falling down in his sleep and landing on my head. I enjoyed this a lot. Keep up your great creative flow.

I'd say that was a close call...that leopard might not have been asleep!

This happened to me once - a five year old said "what is that?" It was not a leopard, but just above our heads was a mama raccoon holding 4 babies between her and the tree trunk and they were all sleeping. I was terrified. Knowing how fierce a mama can be.

Maybe they should install RUN / DON'T RUN signs near the leopards lair. It seems every neighborhood has its own dangers
