What Is Love

Love is that glowthat shines on a mother's face,
when her new-born child appears.
Love is that feeling we get when two hands touch,
two eyes meet, speaking the unspoken word.
Love is the fulfillment of a dream shared with another.
Love is the sound of birds singing on high.
The embrace of a cool, soft breeze
caressing one's radiant cheek.

Love is the tear dropped from your eye
because of the joy you see in someones heart.
Love is the sorrow we share when someone dear to us
passes on unexpectedly.
Love is the warmth of a fireside treat.
A walk with that special someone in your life.

Love is just knowing we are alive and caring.
Love is all the things we take for granted
each passing day.
Take for granted, just because they are there.
Yes my friends,
Love is everything.

The joys, the sorrows, the good and bad,
the wealthy, the poor, the big and the small.
Love is the memories of yesterday, today, and tomorrow.
But most of all, love is man and woman,
through God and God through them.
Without one, the other can not survive.
