What Is Love

What is love
The best feeling in this world
only the fortunate get
The people who don't,
suffer from regret

Sometimes it's sweet,
sometimes it's sour,
For a moment seems unending,
 but fades the next hour

In reality, it's fragile
But is said to be strong
It's delicate like petals,
but sweet like a cuckoo's song...

It enlivens one soul,
but deceives the other
It rejuvenates one
but kills another...

Sometimes it makes us cry,
Sometimes it makes us smile
It's a time when the brain,
stops working for a while...

But when this feeling flees...
The world seems to end.
You look at the broken pieces,
impossible to mend...

Your heart once alive,
now seems to be dead...
It shakes a person in and out
Just like the verses said...

It leaves you in a state
where hate crashes with love...
Your mind's a war sky...
nestling a dove...

Your brain curses you,
and says, "no one's there!"
But your heart secretly whispers...
"Don't worry, they still care.."
