What Is Love

What is love? Some wayward dream gone astray, slipped away in harsh sterile, kinder words at play? If I said I love you, what would you think, is it for real, deep and blemished, written down in ink; expressions dipped in some unspoken feelings unexpressed in awkward ways of healings, when neither one of us gets out of the other's way holding to the cares and woes of living well each day. What is love all but this obsessive drive to share our secrets, live our lives, walk along the promenade out of dark shadowed skies; see God's love and blessings with no question of how, when or why, where beneath the sun rays glowing and warm, magnificent creations bears gifts after a spring burst storm. If I said I love you would that be enough to keep our bond thru the good times and the rough? What more would it need except for truth and honesty every action, word or deed revealed in simple modesty; a prayer, a plea, a pledge to be, me for you and you for me. What is love? The sense, the shared and common bond guiding us forever forward and beyond. 4/8/18
