What is significant to your life?
What words stick with you? 

What Memories pour forth in your shackled brain?
What things make you go absolutely insane?
What darkness sops your soul?
What light keeps you controlled?

What is bad poetry?
—can’t think of any

The possibilities are endless
Wasting your time searching is worthless
Life is wonderful, full of insight
And all you have to do is
WRITE WRITE WRITE!!! 

So I ask you again, man and woman
Can you truly, sincerely See
What is good poetry?

Interesting, Laura. For me poetry falls between two points: good poetry and GREAT poetry. And that's a wide margin there! So much depends on who is reading as well as who is writing ... Getting caught up so much in writing, it's easy to forget this two way relationship. The closer one is too someone else's wave length, the more outstanding it is to that particular person. You can't get rid of poetry's subjectivity ... And reading the many interpretations of readers, I don't think I'd want too.
