What is a Mum
A mum is always someone
That brightens up any day
A person who really cares
In each and every way
Her smile is so magnetic
And has a voice so warm and caring
The love she radiates fills any room
Something she is always sharing
She’s there to wash away the tears
Whenever she is needed
And every kind word she says
Is always appreciated and heeded
Without her what would life be like
So bleak and so uncaring
I am so thankful for all the love
She is unselfishly, abundantly, sharing
Always there to dry my tears
Or put a plaster on the slightest scratch
Or provide a reassuring cuddle
Like no other person could match
Her beaming smile always lights up any room
Something I will never ever forget till the day I die
Her loving heart and open arms are always there
To comfort me when I cry
Her kindness always radiates
Enough light to brighten any room
Her happy face and loving nature
Will always brighten up the gloom
A mother’s love is everything
Any child should ever need to keep them safe from harm
With two loving arms to hold them tight
All day long she’s always there
And will tuck me into bed at night
A mother’s love and affection is precious
So never take it for granted
Because you will soon realize
It’s the one thing in life you have always wanted
