What Is a Man?
I am a man
I have confidence
I have a life
I have two feet and two hands
I am a man
I walk with my head held high
Not caring so much about a woman thigh
I punch with the lord at my fist to make sure that I miss
I am a man
I take care of the family I have
I am a man
I treat my spouse the same
I don’t play games
I am a man
I do things at my best
I try not to be a pest
I wish for a better world
One that’s not ready to be curled
I am a man
I write with pride
And always ride the tide
Because if I don’t I’ll always be on the side
And I don’t want to take that ride
Because I am a man
I have feelings that hurt a lot
That I can’t express so I let them rot
Men cry to let it go
Hoping to get rid of its foe
Why?
Because I am a man
If I didn’t cry or let it go would I be a man?
If I didn’t dream or have a wish I wouldn’t be a man
But because we all do these things we are men
So believe in men because I am a man and you now know “what is a man?”
