What Inspires Me to Write Poetry I took the pencil in my hand & began to write- Sometimes about my feelings, sometimes about what was in sight, The days I had fiery passion running through my veins, Writing was often what kept my mind sane. I wrote when I saw something lovely, When I saw something worth writing about, I decided to write the times I wanted to cry or shout, I wrote when I was in love, I wrote when I was in pain, I wrote when the day was just right, and the sky cried rain, I am inspired by the moments knit together in daily living, I am inspired by the expression words have, how they can ring so true, so giving 9/05/2017
