Would I get wind of the sign

OH how we would be robbed
What if the sun didnt shine
What if salvation was mine
What if I never learned to sin
Would I still have given in
What if I fall off the wagon

What if birds didnt sing
What if she kept the ring
What if she didnt lie
What if she actually tried
Where would we be now
