What If Life's a Dream

What if life's a fable,
    Or a long, vivid dream?
    It could be that this world
    Is but God's future scheme.

    Suppose the people we meet
    Or the emotions that we feel
    Are just illusions of the things we think are real.

    I guess I may be wrong to think so extreme
    But perhaps this poem is just a part of your dream?
