What If It Rains Here

When
the grey sky was
about to drip,
salty liquid
shimmered down your cheeks,
but I forbade it.

Three days passed on,
the teasing of the clouds
did not stop.
Thin rain spraying
from the top,
powdery as snow-
refreshing and cold.

When
life broke your limits
and dreams,
you just wanted to
stand in the rain
and be cleaned.
And that's when I
finally understood
the words you
said to me.
