What If

As seasons change in there time
I realize I can not turn back time
I wonder what would become of me or where I would be
Would we know each other like we do now
Would we find each other somewhere somehow
If things were different for you and me
Would this love I have for you really be
I’ve touched deep in your soul
And emptiness you felt is gone and now you are whole
I’d never ask for all your heart
Just a tiny space a little part
Where a tiny flame can always be
And tucked there with a memory of me
To let you know I’m always there
To let you see I’ll always care.
