What If
What if pigs could really fly?
I’ll not get in to how or why
But if a pig could really fly
I’ll have a different life won’t I?
I will have a published book
Of poetry of notes I took
That will enhance my bank checkbook
When pigs can fly
I’ll drive a Bentley or a Rolls
I’ll have a buyer buy my clothes
My audio will be all Boise
When pigs can fly
My wife - you know – the pessimist
When I bring up my dreamer’s list
She’s the one that tells me this
“When pigs can fly”
But I know they have flown before
I’ve got a wife that I adore
She’s such a dream and so therefore
I know that pigs can fly
What if pigs could really fly?
Sometimes I wonder if some try
Fulfilling dreams for you and I
What if pigs can really fly?
