What If

What if we stood in between
The real world and heavenly dreams
Where we control nearly everything
A reality well worth conjuring

What if time could never fade
We remained young and safe
Living in love with the life we made
With none of the worries we have today

What if the world was made for us
From the ocean floor to the stars above
We were free to fix and adjust
Whatever we please just as we discussed

What if we just left for good
Packed our bags as fast as we could
Found a cabin deep in the woods
Wrote the chapter on love and closed the book
