What Id Give

What I’d give to hear you say I love you
Just one more time
By Rebecca Dominique morris

What I’d give to hear you say I love you just one more time
To spend even just a few more hours and make those memories mine
What I’d give to just hear your voice and you call me sweetheart like you did
To be able to just express all these emotions I feel
God forbid
What id give to hear you call me princess and say goodnight
To have no darkness and only have light
What I’d give to turn back the clock
And for it to be my front door not heavens where you next knock
They say time is precious and once you lose it you can never get it back
Memories , videos, pictures and songs on repeat but more time, we lack
There was still so much for us to say and there wasn’t enough time
The road ahead now long and a hard climb
How could you leave us behind ?
Because please tell me how I even say goodbye, to someone who has been with me my whole life
Who should ,but now won’t see me become a mother or a wife
God ,What id give for everything to be All okay and fine
And just hear you tell me you love me, please just one more time.
