What I Want For Christmas
What do I want for Christmas? That’s easy.
I want my dog and cat to be well fed.
I want my relatives to get along well with each other
I want co-workers to whistle merry tunes in their head.
It would be fantastic if the world could agree on a cease-fire.
All moms and dads could always expect and admire
Their children’s choices and appreciate their best friend.
Love, loyalty, and truth could win out in the end.
For Christmas I wish the world could have faith and hope.
Terrific if we could eliminate the effects of dope.
Fine Christmas if Good Samaritans we could all try and be
The entire year, yes, you and yes, absolutely of course me.
What do I want for Christmas? World peace, and lots of love
Unconditional admiration for others, faith from above.
A visit from our loved ones, who have gone on ahead to home.
Some lively ideas for an interesting, lively, fun-loving poem.
