What I Need

The night was cold and eerie.
Something wicked was lingering in the air.
The icy feeling of doom hovering everywhere.
The feeling of terror had taken up residence.
The night fire raged against the darkness.
But the overwhelming feeling could not be shaken.
Could there be many more nights like this ahead.
Because I wouldn't want it any other way.
There is nothing better than to cuddle up together.
When the wind rages and there is darkness all around.
And the only warmth and light I need.
Is that of your love forevermore.
