What do I Love Most about PoetrySoup?
Is it posting my poems so people can read?
Is it reading others poems—
An intellectual feed?
I think it’s the kindness
Of the people who write.
So generous with their comments;
Their encouragement and insight.
Yes, it’s really the folk
Who take time to share,
The experiences they’ve gleaned,
From just being here.
Minds that are gathered
With a similar, poetic interest;
Sharing the beauty of words
That each holds closest.
PoetrySoup is a pleasure
To visit each day;
To post a few more poems
And see what friends say.
The emails and comments
Make it all meaningful.
I love the interaction of others,
Who are so thankful and cheerful.
