What I Love

What I love is,
The beauty of the land
My feet underneath the sand
The sound of the waves as i look upon the horizon
A butterfly hovering above my hand

What I love is,
The diamonds in the sky at night
And
Waking to mornings first light
Hearing the sound of a new baby's cry
And
The beauty of a new mommas first sigh

What I love is,
All the opportunities for me to behold
Achieving greatness as i grow old
The light of god I see in his eyes
And
Also, knowing in this world theres truth besides the lies
The leaves as they turn colors on the trees
And
When they turn back to green
The hopeful potential of a flower to bloom
And
The hopeful dream that peace could be coming soon

It all comes back to those waves on the tide
Its all these things I love inside
