What I Had

I was G she was L
How we were destined to be
I was her gift she was my love
The translations in the sky
From how we met to how we separated
The block, the wall we had to break
For the next challenge but i was to weak
To afraid of passing by,
I guess i wasn't the chosen one
But it was all in my mind
How delusional i was,
To you, i was the only one,
To me, i guess i was just another
So i pulled the plug,
Man how i murdered her,
now im just running
Running and running like im leading to something,
So i pulled back on my mission
Im just trying,
trying so hard to figure out what went wrong,
But you were right, you went right
Seeing you take that path,
The road to heaven,
Yes you were my angel
And i was the sinner but in your eyes
I was a winner,
I never met your dad
Oh lord, but it was better that way
Otherwise i would of been casted out,
Man i screwed up,
Now I'm just feeling down
Regrets and begging for mercy
But now all i do is watch
Watch the sky, the wind drift away
Reminiscing about what we had
Memories of you, my souvenir,
Dreaming about the past and worrying about the future
cause i miss what we had.
