What I Could Do With More Daylight

If I could have a longer day with you
My nights could be shorter and less toucher to get thru
All I do is lie awake until' mornings light
I would stay until the dusk sets and pray you don't get wet
For all I know you might get caught in the snow
I would try to stay away til mornings light then fall on my knees to please
So tell me if you think I'm sick it won't cut me to the quick
Daylight savings time is near I hope you hear my plight dear
Say you will stay all day
Until the night comes I need you near promise me my dear to stay and not go for this is my fear
