What Hurts More
What hurts more, the truth?,
or the fact you knew you were right all along.
Why do lies seem more believable?,
than the truth itself.
Why do people pretend things aren't happening?,
when they really are.
Why do people put faith in other people?,
only to be let down.
Why do people keep trying to love?,
only to be hurt again.
The truth hurts yes,
knowing the truth before hearing it is worse.
