What Has God Wrought

Gray skies partially blanketed
with charcoal clouds, framed by
a red rising sun casting light
and magenta up high

The owl hoots instuctions to each
orchestra player near
Roosters trumpet a merry tune
while Mockingbirds sing cheer

Slowly the sun stamps its red mark
upon all trees' shadows
A stillness exaggerates sounds
Gobbles fly like arrows

With each color change in the sky
Awe wraps around each thought
Great is God's blessings of sight
Remember "What has God wrought"?

A famous inventor asked that question after he invented something and I am thinking either the telephone, telegraph or lightbulb..Anyone remember???
