What Happens Next

What more is needed than a dream,
A dream is everything we need
A dream has climbed over mountains,
Swam the vastness of sea

Dreams have kept us on living,
From the coldest night in a cave
Longing to make natures glowing,
To the mistreated earth, trying to save

When life is at its lowest ebb,
We can dream of a brighter day
Though today I cower in darkness,
Tomorrow I dream darkness fades

When you buckle from all of life’s struggle,
When you feel there is no return
In the saddest of moments crying,
It is dreaming that will bring with it relief

A dream took us into the skies,
Down below the surface of water
Days spent feeling deep hunger,
A day to put a ring on a finger

Whilst we are waiting answers,
Not sure if this way is correct
Take a moment, quiet and silent,
To dream about what happens next
