What Happened To the Family

What happened to the family
That I used to know
once surrounded by loved ones
now i stand alone,
cousins that used to play
now dont speak a word
and when I need advice
Not one voice is heard
sisters that at a time
Would move mountians
With just one call
Are now just dusty pictures
Hanging on the wall
all Of our family reunions
now take place at
the funeral home
and it seems like we all
forgot how to use the phone
Instead of showing love
hate is spread around
and instead of lifting up
We bring each other down
What happened to the family
That i used to know
This is not how it should be
Where did everybody go
grandpa is no longer here
and grandmas not doing great
Family we need to fix this
Before it is to late
