What Happened

Lived by the sandy golden towans and blue calm sea
Jungle to the bottom of the garden where I would play
She was pretty, young, playful and so maternal
He was moody full stop!
He was absent, a workaholic and cold
Time divided us it made an imperfection
Mentality, relationship and bonds changed
She remains maternal
He remains absent
I remain captivated in the enchantment of childhood, lost.
