Im trying to figure out
What has happen
We as women
Have turned into a major distraction
We use to have value
We use to have pride
And now in our DM,, s
These guys do slide
What happen to all the things
Like knowing your worth and being a queen
We are out looking for attention
Now days guys don't even have to mention
How smart you are
How much they really care
Because we present everything out in the air
Back in the day
It was about love
Now days its about material things shoes cars and clothes one thing about all that gets old
But we don't
Our spirits are rich
Yet we let people drag us into a ditch
Settling yea that word is coming familiar
We settle with not just relationships
But with jobs
Take it serious and they make it hard
They want you to get stuck
Please hear me out
I've been noticing that lately please hear me out
If there was a dream
That I ever wish to come true
Is for us to pick ourselves
Back up find the value
Yea the guys see your breast your thighs your but
But leave something to the imagination
Some they would want to touch
But not just yet
Stimulate their mind
Teach them something they'll never forget
Look in the mirror
I mean really deep
Did you forget you had rhythm in your feet
Or did you forget the beat
Or the step
Did you realize where your help
Where your help came from
Or are you doing it on your own
What if your only option was to remain strong
Yea any woman can throw that ass
But in this life you got to have class
Not necessarily school
But of all things we can't be a fool
Or a gardening tool
As they call a hoe
We got to be a flower that grows
We got to gain that confidence back
Walk with dignity
Have your balance
You are the daughter of a king you can handle it
Young girls continue to soar
Search deep down what you looking for
Get a better education
Be all that you can be
You are our future the world depends on thee
My young ladies keep your head held high
And know its ok to cry
We all have emotions
Take a dip in the ocean
For devotion and time
Give yourself time to unwind
You have plenty of time to date these guys
But right now strive
Strive to be better than me
To my older sisters
Let's take our crowns
Stop being half dressed
Dress in royalty beautiful gowns
I am Concetta
And I am a queen
I got everything
Including my self esteem
Well I am done for now I have said my part
Ladies let's get back to when we all had good hearts
