What Follows Darkness
I think i'm dumb sometimes
because i fall into your eyes
you have a way of playing with my head
make such a mess inside my mind
i can't make sense out of all these lies
you won't be happy until i'm dead!
Just follow the arrows
the old roads are broken
listen careful can you hear
the angels screaming?
Destroy or fade
the choices that we make
will you hold onto me tight
until this darkness starts to fade?
I get so scared sometimes
because you like to dress up in disguise
you have a way of breaking my heart
i feel it beating less and less
i couldn't see it from the start
that you won't be happy until i'm dead!

I think you thought of me blind
nothing more and nothing less
shed your skin all of the time
but never the one who could ever confess
you have a way of crying all the time
would you be smiling if you learned that i'm dead?
