Whatever happened to that moment
In which I was so in love
Whatever happened to that moment
Where I could never get enough
Of you and I and moments shared
So happy free and wild
Perhaps a time left in the past 
Would do best to feature now
Whatever happened to you and I
Where did our passion go
Whatever happened to us before them

I don't think passion can be sustained, but I can at least say that my husband and i have a much stronger bond after 43 years than we had 20 years ago.
