What Do You See
The sky is bright for the sun lightens it
when the dark comes the stars brighten it
for you to look and see clearly
what the universe can see
why cant you see?
A smile that lightens hearts
softens them to believe
tender and easily trusted
for it touches all that see
what can you see?
for you walk like a blind man
never seeing,never knowing
what others know and can see
times when you could
you closed your beautiful eyes
yet a heart that was so open to receive you
was placed in front of you
why cant you open you eyes?
Now keeping walking and searching
when you get weary of it
open your eyes and see clearly
that all along i have waited for you to be the one
