What Do Poets Like

What Do Poets Like It's a fact~ to me, quite mysterious. I sit here penning many, to the point of being delirious! It's such a nonsensical thing to do! Just write about, what's magical and true for you. You don't know the interests of others. For you know only you, unique as star, with no matching sisters or brothers. This is the best way to go. I can't bear meaningless, poetic acrobat shows! I don't live swinging on stars, Nor penning words used only by creatures on Mars. I do share my heart, you will never find it in a Thesaurus. Just directness, simplicity, from me.....for all of us! 4/1/2921 ~3~

I like the clarity of your statement. )))' Cloudy. I cannot write in Museland. A fairy tale place that has no connection with heart or reality. And we ride about on unicorns?? .I can relate to Hashem not Muses or mythical creatures. Life is beautiful as is...PANGIE XX

Hello Darlene, some of the best poetry here is understandable and short. Why write to lose a reader? But do write any way you choose. I wrote much longer when I first came here. I did not know the forms available! I do know! Thank you Hugs, Pangie xx

I do agree. I want to understand what the poet is saying. Incomprehensible verbiage looks soo impressive, but I do not live in Thesaurasviile...just in a house in CA! Pangie xx
