What Do I See

As I awake what do I see
The beauty of nature set in front of me
What do I see
I see violence and inequality
Displayed in plain sight for all to see
What do I see
I see the world in utter chaos 
And me being a descendant of ADOS
What do I see 
I see the news full of lies and deceptions
So what I see may be different from your perspective
What I see
Is my surroundings changing drastically
I see a pandemic running rampantly
So what I see is a world in a great divide
Also I see tribulation in my trying times
What else I see is the unrest and turmoil
What I see alot of things to make my blood boil
But that's enough yapping from me 
With that being said now what do you see?

WoW! Bette, What a powerful and relevant write. Everything is so in one’s face that it’s impossible not to see. I see all those things too, but our perceptions of what we see differ. With that being said, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to know that what’s going on worldwide isn’t right. If I choose to let all the negativity that I see get to me, I will go insane. So I intentionally change my lenses. Excellent write. It's so good to see you. Happy Holidays to you and your loved ones:-) Alexis
