What Disney Doesn'T Tell You

As quickly as they come they disappear in a flash
Tearing your world apart
Dashing your dreams and hopes and wishes
Not giving a damn about the state they left your heart

Oh they'll cry in the end they always do
But do they come running after you?
No they watch you go
Give excuses high and low
How they need to be free to explore and discover
But pretty soon you'll see them on the arm of another

Fairytales are false fantasies
Dreams don't come true
Don't rely on a handsome prince
Happy ever after is up to you
