What could have been
You rule my dreams with no mercy
You give me no peace
I gave up on us long ago
I know now that it was a mistake.
The way we could talk for hours
The way we didn’t have to talk at all
I miss the time we spent together
I still hold on to hope.
Your smile is unique and exotic
The way you move is from a dream
The look in your eyes is hypnotizing
I wish that it never changed.
