What Cottagers Miss

what cottagers miss

summer guests are gone from the street,
fall approaches warily.
old man fox returns in silence,
soon his vixen will follow.
time slows to watch the geese fly by,
their bugles chase the weather.

My goodness Jackson! There is more to the wood than you can imagine. I love my little cabin and once the gorbies go peace.

Hi Patricia, how strange to swop seasons.in the mind. We're having a spring attack here, flowers jumping up everywhere, crazy huh? You certai ly paint the mood though , so I get it. I apologise up front for last nights poem dedication I made to you. Called -make some room for me- You were on my mind and it got me going. I mean I hardly know you, but we swopped some sentiments and your writing talent is that good. Respect here. Go read it
