The Bridge

It’s a time for building bridges,
Constructions and repair,
Gifts of love are coming,
To people everywhere,

The greatest of achievements,
Love could ever bear,
Wrapped in the gifts of life,
There’s something in the air,

Dispelling out the darkness,
Excitement everywhere,
With presence of this structure
And the smallest of a prayer,
Holding up the bridge
Suspended in mid-air,

A passage over obstacles
With happiness of good cheer,
Faithful and always giving,
Love that reins the deer,

A Santa through this crossing
Bridging lifelong through,
The architect and designer,
Bringing a merry Christmas to you,
