What Can I Say?

No matter what I say
You turn your head away
You don’t take me serious
You think I’m delirious
But I’ve been begging you
To just pull me through
But you turn your head away
No matter what I say

The pain radiates
The pain is what I hate
It is stealing me
I wish you could only see
I’m down on my knees
Whispering pleas
You turn your head away
No matter what I say

I’m consumed by pain
That has no name
There’s nothing left to take
My life is at stake
I look into your eyes
And I ask you why
You turn your head away
No matter what I say

There is nowhere left to turn
That ash and stone will burn
I guess I have no choice
I have to silence my voice
With tears in my eyes
I leave alone to cry
You turn your head away
No matter what I say

No matter what I say
You throw my words away
You leave me alone
To face the unknown
There are no other ways
To say what I must say
Because, no matter what I say
You turn your head away
