What Broke Your Heart

What broke your heart

Was it the undertones of love
Or the denial of faith thereof.
Can you say that love was played,
                                 Or had feelings seemed delayed.

What broke my heart was trust,
Because you never believed in us
For if you had, Love would be a must,
At times when love boardered discuss.

Now that we know what divided us,
Can there be a tomorrow of trust?
Between you and I for loves sake,
It must be for loves sake and not fake.

When it is true love their is no room for lies and fakeness, The heart is exposed and the soul is linked. I have enjoyed your poetry this evening Michael. Thank you for sharing,
