What Are We

We are naked parts of the bare truth Beings sculpted from dust The curse of eating the forbidden fruit Fragments of sins from the past We are sinners, we are faulty We are fallen stars from the sky Redemption is our only bounty Without saving grace, we'll die We are fragments of a fallen glory Of a wisdom gone too wrong We're the tragedy of a sweet love story From once a great world where we should belong
