What Am I Facing
What am I facing?
Feeling bad and ugly and alone
Looking out into the great unknown
Unfamiliar territory
A vast void of possibilities
Intriguing and terrifying.
Afraid, girl afraid
Girl unsure
Hating and hurting
Lashing out at others and at herself
Wanting to hurt, needing to know
That she is wrong, she is shameful
Too ashamed to grow
Too afraid to change...
To let go.
