What Am I

I am a feeling
so often misused
I'm a mixture of truth
and illusion
infused

Into the minds
of those
who wear me
But only enjoyed
by those
who share me

I'm simple
yet strong
and easily sabotaged
by emulating roses
in fragrant camaflouge

but don't be discouraged
If it hurts more than it should
For I must be tried and truly
tested
Before I'm truly
understood

You'll surely catch a glimpse
if I ever
flutter by
like a swooning serenade
a graceful
butterly

And if I'm ever known
In my truest, bluest form
I will mend a broken soul
and keep a cold heart warm

Love
