What a Fool
Sometimes I lay awake and wonder
What kind of fool I must be
Having ever been so careless
As to let you slip away from me
Now there’ll be ten thousand others
Who’ll be knocking at your door
The instant word gets out
You’re not mine any more
Tonight I’m drowning in my sorrows
Wondering how far I’m going to fall
I’ve made some big mistakes
This the biggest one of all
