When checking my facts, I too found Google chucking up this erroneous meaning. Je ne sais quois actually translates as ‘I do not know’ or ‘I do not know what’ (depending on your choice of expert). ‘Cannot be adequately described’ is, more correctly, a reason for using the expression.
